01.29.2015Actor Giancarlo Esposito to Continue LU Speaker Series
Lindenwood University’s 2014-15 Speaker Series will continue with movie and television actor Giancarlo Esposito at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, in the university’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts on the St. Charles campus.

01.28.2015Liberty and Ethics Center Receives Grants for Spring Conference
The Liberty and Ethics Center at Lindenwood University has announced two grant awards to support its spring conference, “Capitalism, Crony Capitalism, and the Common Good.” A $10,000 grant award was received from the Charles Koch Foundation, and a $12,000 grant was received from the Earhart Foundation.

St. Louis Cardinal Manager Mike Matheny will speak at Lindenwood University's J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts at 7 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 2. The event coincides with the release of Matheny’s book, The Matheny Manifesto: A Young Manager’s Old-School Views on Success in Sports and Life.

Lindenwood University has partnered with the greatest female athlete of the 20th century, Olympian Jackie Joyner-Kersee and the R. Whittington Foundation to offer two full scholarships to students from Missouri and the St. Louis metropolitan area.

01.19.2015Sibley Day Feb. 18 to Celebrate Lindenwood Culture
Lindenwood University will host its annual Sibley Day on Wednesday, Feb. 18, on the St. Charles campus in honor of University founders George and Mary Sibley. Students will be excused from daytime classes in order to attend their choice of dozens of experiential learning presentations and events scheduled throughout the day.

After nearly six years of service at Lindenwood University-Belleville, Dr. Jerry Bladdick has announced that he will be stepping down from his position of campus president in December 2015.
