Founded in 1827, Lindenwood University is a dynamic four-year liberal arts institution dedicated to excellence in higher education. Lindenwood University is known nationally and internationally for innovation, entrepreneurship, and extraordinary dedication to students. In 2013, the School of Nursing and Allied Health Sciences (SONAHS) was established to support community growth and the growing need for healthcare services in the St. Charles County community and beyond. The SONAHS provides access to higher levels of education for nursing and allied health professionals in response to an increasingly complex healthcare system.
In a unique partnership designed to provide opportunities for seamless transitions to higher degree programs, Lindenwood University developed a collaborative relationship with St. Charles Community College’s (SCC) associate degree nursing program. The collaborative relationship will offer unique opportunities to engage in learning activities across multiple educational levels. In addition to nursing, Lindenwood University is planning to offer allied health programs in options that are in demand for healthcare.
