As a Lindenwood psychology major following completion of a general introduction to psychology you will be have the opportunity to take a variety of courses including abnormal psychology, behavioral neuroscience, human development, motivation and emotion, social psychology, learning and memory, personality theory, and psychological testing. You will actively explore the scientific aspects of psychology through research and apply your knowledge of the human condition by developing creativity, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to apply your understanding of human behavior by participating in a service practicum with a community agency or organization. If you are interested in continuing your education by pursuing a graduate degree you will have the benefit of personalized guidance from one or more faculty members.
