Student Development - Personnel
   
John Oldani, Ed.D., VP-Student Development (ext. 4993) is responsible for overseeing Activities, Athletics, Career Services, Day Admissions , Educational Enhancement Center, Financial Aid, Freshman Experience, Health Center, Housing, International Student Center, Intramurals, Residential Operations and Services, Student Success Programs, and Work and Learn. He serves as the chief student development administrator and a liaison for student needs on the President’s Council. His office is located on the 4th floor of the Spellmann Center in the Student Development Suite.

Ryan Guffey, Ph.D., Assistant VP-Student Development & Special Projects (ext. 4475) is responsible for the implementation of student development related activities. Further, he assists in the development of student related mass media materials and fostering and maintaining university international relations. His office is located on the 4th floor of the Spellmann Center in the Student Development Suite.

Kerry Cox, M.A., Director of Student Activities (ext. 4983) facilitates campus activities via the scheduling of all on campus student activities, coordination of student organizations and the maintaining of both student facilities, the Loft and Connection Center. His office is located on the 1st floor of the Spellmann Center adjacent to the radio station (KCLC).

Michelle Giessman, Director of Residential Life (ext. 4848) works closely with the resident directors, resident assistants and dorm desk sitters to create a positive interactive environment for the students in Lindenwood residences. She is responsible for all new and returning housing assignments on campus. Her office is located on the 4th floor of the Spellmann Center in the Student Development Suite.

Emin Hajiyev, M.B.A., Director-International Student Center (ext. 4982) oversees the recruitment, visa obtainment, and support services for the international student body. He furthers campus diversity by facilitating the recruitment of students from over 79 countries. His office is located on the 4th floor of the Spellmann Center in the International Student Center.

Wade Hampton, M.A., Director of Security (ext. 4687) oversees campus safety. He schedules and coordinates efforts 24 hours a day, seven days a week to create and maintain an environment of campus security and well being. He also serves as the associate dean of students. His office is located in the Business Service Center in Door “G”.

Cathy Hart, M.S., Director of Student Success Programs (ext. 4768) coordinates the academic student success programs. In particular, she works with students who need additional academic support via tutors and success advisors or may need tips for how to achieve academic success. Her office is located on the 4th floor of the Spellmann Center in the Student Development Suite.

Terry Russell, M.A., Dean of Students (ext. 4980) is responsible for enforcing policies within the Student Handbook. He seeks to foster positive campus associations through the promotion of safe and appropriate student interaction. Further, he works with the campus maintenance staff, resident directors and Director of Residential Services to help maintain the beauty and legacy of the Lindenwood residential facilities. His office is located on the 4th floor Spellmann Center.

Megan Teal, M.B.A., Director of Intramurals (ext. 4613) organizes and oversees intramural activities on campus. Assists with student activities planning and execution. Her office is located on the 1st floor of the Spellmann Center adjacent to the radio station (KCLC).

Mike Tolman, M.S., Director of Work and Learn (ext. 4563) manages the undergraduate student work study program. He assigns work and learn duties, monitors timesheets submission and determines terminations for the program. In addition, he oversees the faculty, staff and student mail services on campus. His office is located on the 3rd floor of the Spellmann Center.

Dana Wehrli, M.S., Director of Career Development (ext. 4806) assists with career exploration, the community work service program and employment recruitment fairs. She works closely with students to help them prepare resumes, job interview skills and personal presentation for future job opportunities. The Career Center is located in room 3175 of the Spellmann Center.

Shane Williamson, Ed.D., Director - First~Year Programs (ext. 4728) oversees the First Year Experience and the LUL 101 course for new first year and transfer students with less than 24 credit hours. Further, she works closely with those students who have either social or academic problems and assists them with resolution. Her office is located on the 4th floor of the Spellmann Center in the Student Development Suite.
