We provide and extend exercise classes during the week for Lindenwood student, faculty, and staff. Fall 2014 schedule coming soon!
Boot Camp: This class is a fun and fast-paced workout designed for people of all fitness levels. Boot Camp will include segments of aerobic endurance, muscle toning, and core strengthening.
Core & Stretch: Combining core toning and full-body stretching, this class will get your core strong and your body flexible. The core portion of class will incorporate exercised designed to tone your abdominals, lower back, and thighs. The stretching portions will focus on lengthening your muscles and improving your flexibility, leaving you feeling long, lean and energized.
X - Fit: Strength and conditioning that combines weightlifting, sprinting, powerlifting, kettles, plyometrics, running, jump-roping, and medicine ball training.
Spinning: Spinning is for everybody, not just the elite athlete. Men and women of all ages, abilities, and fitness levels enjoy spinning. The class is a non-impact, individually paced, non-competitive, group training system designed for all riders and fitness levels. Come get your heart pumping! All fitness levels are welcome. No experience necessary; first timers welcome.
Dance Cardio: Dance Cardio classes feature exotic rhythms set to high-energy beats. Before participants know it, they’re getting fit and their energy levels are soaring! There’s no other fitness class like Dance Cardio. It’s easy to do, effective and exhilarating, often building a deep-rooted community among returning participants.
Beginner's Yoga: This class will focus on the basics of yoga postures. The core actions help with opening the body and focusing on breathing techniques. Participants learn techniques and proper alignment.
Intermediate Yoga: Love the Beginner’s Yoga? Want to take a step up? Then Intermediate Yoga is here. This class will reinforce the basics and include challenging moving and static postures and sequences. This class will challenge the participants in a fun and non-competitive atmosphere.
