• Untamed Ink will publish only previously unpublished short stories and poems. All rights revert to author after first publication.

• Accepted submissions or excerpts may be published on our website for the duration of the current issue.

• While we encourage submissions from everyone, we will give first consideration to those with a connection to Lindenwood University, the greater St. Louis area, and the Midwest.

• There are many well-known poets and writers in the Midwest. St. Louis has a vibrant literary scene. We know each other and it would be too limiting and disrespectful to preclude publication of people we know. That said, quality will be the ultimate guide, although quality is in the attentive ears and oft-bleary eyes of our own literary geeks.

• Thanks to Lindenwood University and our colleagues for their generous support of this endeavor.
