Submissions Guidelines
We invite submissions of poetry and fiction. Please clearly mark the outer envelope as fiction or poetry. Do not mix genres in the same submission. Each separate text should include name and contact information, including e-mail address. We do not accept email submissions, without prior approval.
Previously unpublished material only. Manuscripts submitted without a stamped, self-addressed envelope will be recycled without response. Standard response time is from 10-12 weeks. Simultaneous submissions are OK as long as you notify us if accepted elsewhere. If accepted, you will be contacted for an electronic file of your manuscript.
Poetry
We ask that you send no more than six to eight poems per submission. We have accepted from one to four or five poems from a single author.
Fiction
All fiction manuscripts should be double-spaced. Fiction submissions typically have a limit of 10,000 words. We recommend writers familiarize themselves with fiction from previous issues before submitting.
