Lindenwood University has implemented a phased return to campus and will begin the fall semester as scheduled on August 24. Lindenwood personnel and offices continue to be available for business by telephone and email. Lindenwood University will host a hearing of the House Interim Committee on State Intelligence Analysis Oversight at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 28, in the Anheuser-Busch Leadership Room of the Spellmann Campus Center, located on the main campus in St. Charles.

School of Health Sciences

The Lindenwood University Athletic Training Education Program has been approved for continued accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE). The program has met the nationally-recognized standards for entry-level athletic training education established by the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Orthopedic Society for Sports Medicine, and the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Inc.

Daniel P. Erikson, Caribbean foreign policy expert, will speak on the future of Cuba in the second installment of the 2009-10 Lindenwood University Speaker Series. The presentation will be at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, in the Anheuser-Busch Leadership Room of the Spellmann Center.

The Lindenwood University St. Charles Alumni Club will host its 15th Annual Fashion Show from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Lindenwood University Club at 600 Old Friedens Road. Proceeds from the fundraising event, which includes a luncheon and silent auction, will benefit the university’s scholarship fund.

Lindenwood University will observe Media Literacy week by hosting two forums during the week of Oct. 4-10 in the Anheuser Busch Leadership Room at the Spellmann Campus Center. “Creating Media Literacy Standards for the Upcoming Fifth Missouri Standards (MSIP) Cycle” will take place from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7, and “Creating Media Smart Students: Media Literacy for 21st Century Learning,” will take place from 4:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8.

Lindenwood University Belleville will host free, informative sessions about its accelerated evening degree programs through the Lindenwood College for Individualized Education (LCIE). Upcoming sessions are scheduled to take place from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22; and from 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 23, in the main campus building.
