The Lindenwood University Department of Theatre will present the comedy “She Stoops to Conquer” at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 3-5 in the university’s Emerson Black Box Theater.
Lindenwood University’s Black Student Union will present “The Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” at 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 17, in the Emerson Black Box Theatre of the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts. The event is free and open to the public.
Lindenwood University will host its second annual Go Red for Women night during the women’s and men’s basketball games against Avila University at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 14, at the Hyland Performance Arena. The games are co-sponsored by the American Heart Association and are part of the campaign to raise awareness about heart disease in women.
Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts will host Tango Buenos Aires: Fire & Passion on January 27, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. in The Bezemes Family Theater.
Lindenwood University’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts will welcome back the Russian National Ballet Theatre performing its rendition of Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet on January 21, 2011, at 8:00 p.m. in The Bezemes Family Theater.
The Lindenwood University Men’s Ice Hockey Team will play a charity game against the St. Louis Blues Alumni Team at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Jan.9, at the Lindenwood University Ice Arena in Wentzville, Mo. The game will be part of the Disabled Athlete Sports Association’s (DASA) annual St. Louis Sled Hockey Tournament and proceeds will benefit the DASA Jr. Blues Sled Hockey Program.
All Lindenwood University Offices will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24, Monday, Dec. 27, Friday, Dec. 31, and Saturday, Jan. 1 in observance of the holidays.

Evelyn Hendrix, PsyD, S.P.H.R., of the Lindenwood University School of Business and Entrepreneurship, will disclose this week the results of an extensive recent study on the employment climate of St. Charles County. She will deliver a public presentation at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, in the Spellmann Center on the main Lindenwood campus in St. Charles, Mo., following an initial unveiling of her findings to the First Capitol Lions Club on Thursday, Dec. 2.
