Lindenwood University's teacher education program received high honors recently in a report issued by the U.S. Secretary of Education. The Title II report shows Lindenwood in the top quartile of all teacher education programs in the state of Missouri.
Lindenwood University Dean of Education Rick Boyle has received the Missouri Association of School Librarians Friend of School Library award.

Two Lindenwood University education students were selected as officers for the Missouri State Student Council for Exceptional Children at a state meeting held at the Tan-Tar-A Resort March 24-26.
Lindenwood University and The Computer Junction, Inc., of Washington, Mo., have formed a partnership to provide graduate-level courses for school district technology directors and teachers. The courses will all be Internet-based, so that educators can take the courses at their own pace and convenience.
