Mueller Named Executive Director of the World Shooting and Recreational Complex

Lindenwood alumna Lauren Mueller was recently named Executive Director of the World Shooting and Recreational Complex in Sparta, Ill.

Mueller is a multi-year member of the National Collegiate Clay Target team and has extensive accomplishments on the firing line. Since graduating from Lindenwood in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration with an emphasis in marketing and management, Mueller has taken on the role of leading the management of the Brittany Shooting Park, the site of the very successful and highly regarded Illinois State Trapshooting Championships for many years. Mueller’s grandparents Larry and Carole Mohr, were the founders and owners/operators of the Brittany Shooting Park.

“I am very grateful that this position will be held by an individual with diverse and vast knowledge of trapshooting, the ATA, and the Grand American,” said Lynn Gipson, executive director and Grand American Tournament director. “This is great news for our sport and association, and will further enhance and fortify the already strong relationship between the ATA and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources.”
