Theatre Program Presenting 'Sweet Charity'

The Lindenwood University Theatre Program continues its presentation through March 11 of the classic musical "Sweet Charity."

The production will be presented at 8 p.m. on March 9, 10, 11 in Jelkyl Theatre in Roemer Hall on the university's main campus. Ticket prices are $10 for adults and $5 for students, senior citizens and children 17 years or younger.

With music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Dorothy Fields, and book by Neil Simon, "Sweet Charity" is a musical romp which tells the story of a naive dance hall hostess, Charity Hope Valentine. The delightful score includes famous songs like "Hey, Big Spender," "If They Could See Me Now" and "Rhythm of Life."
