William T. Kemper Foundation Donates $100,000

The William T. Kemper Foundation, Commerce Bank trustee, has donated $100,000 toward Lindenwood University's current capital campaign. Specifically, the gift is to be used for Lindenwood's new campus center, construction of which is to start this spring.

The capital campaign, called the Heritage Campaign, is a $46 million campaign geared toward funding two new residence halls and a new campus center. The residence halls are under construction and will be completed in the summer.

The $10 million, 112,000-square foot campus center, will be built overlooking the Lindenwood athletic stadium with a three-level atrium. It will include internet and satellite capabilities, meeting rooms, a spacious dining hall and food court area, a communications center, the university's communications division facilities and a Leadership Center, which will house a variety of programs designed to help students succeed before and after their graduation from Lindenwood.
