The Public Relations Minor is designed for students interested in building a career in, or developing a better understanding of, the field of public relations. The Public Relations Minor has been developed to emphasis real-world strategic communications skills that are required to meet the demands of the field and the effective messaging tools required to be a successful public relations practitioner.
The purpose of this American Advertising Federation (AAF) and Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) college chapter is to offer Lindenwood University – St. Charles students, graduate students, and alumni the opportunity to enhance their understanding and knowledge of the advertising and public relations industry, obtain practical experiences while also building relationships with agencies in the St. Louis area, develop the individual abilities of its members, and promote fellowship and free exchange of ideas. Student benefits of AAF and PRSSA include entry to internships and careers postings, acquire advanced educational training, participation in competitions, and access to industry news, and much more!
