Program Description: Students enroll in 15 hours of language, culture, and literature courses corresponding to placement level.

Academic Prerequisites: 2.0 GPA, completion of Spanish coursework, permission of program director

What Does the Program Include: 225 hours of class, a private room in the home of a host family; most meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner with the family); some cultural activities; administrative and email fees

Supplemental Information: This program is mandatory for the Spanish major but available to minors and other students enrolled in the Spanish program. Basic language prerequisites are SPA 31100 and SPA 31200, and a minimum of one SPA 30000-level literature class or one SPA 30000-level culture class.
