In addition to outdoor sunken garden dining and an expanded Matt’s Cafe, Lindenwood University-Belleville students will have an assortment of new meal plan options from which to choose upon their return to Belleville this fall. Campus President Brett Barger said the administration has “listened carefully to students” and the meal plan changes are a direct result of student opinion surveys.
Lindenwood University has signed a lease for 32,000 square feet of space at the Old Post Office at Ninth and Olive Downtown and is moving its Wildwood and St. Louis accelerated degree program operations there April 1.
Lindenwood University’s Board of Directors is holding the line on tuition for the 2016-2017 academic year. Tuition for undergraduate resident students will remain $15,672 in 2016-17. Tuition for full-time graduate studies will also remain the same, at $7,836.
Students arriving on the Lindenwood Belleville campus in the fall will have a dramatically new dining experience at Matt’s Café. Lindenwood’s Board of Directors has approved a partnership with Pedestal Foods to overhaul the dining experience at both the St. Charles and Belleville campuses. The Belleville plan will cost nearly $500,000 and includes the expansion of Matt’s Café, which will nearly triple in size, and the creation of an outdoor dining area connected to the campus’ sunken garden. A generous donation from the Fred J. Kern family is helping make this expansion possible.
The Lindenwood University system has entered into a partnership with Barnes & Noble College to bring a new bookstore and apparel experience to its campuses in St. Charles, Mo., and Belleville, Ill. The agreement takes effect April 18.
Under Armour’s growth has been exploding worldwide, and it continues in the Midwest. The Lindenwood University system has signed a five-year agreement with Under Armour to be the exclusive outfitter of its sports teams on the St. Charles, Mo., and Belleville, Ill. campuses.
