The Lindenwood University-Belleville baseball program and Head Coach Logan Johnson have announced the addition of former major league pitcher and local standout Randy Wells to the 2014 coaching staff. Wells will be a volunteer assistant for this year’s team.

Lindenwood University has established a new political science award to honor former Illinois State Senator and GOP Minority Leader Frank Watson. The Frank Watson Political Science Award will be presented to a student from Lindenwood University-Belleville annually at the university’s Honors Convocation.
Lindenwood University’s Board of Directors approved on Friday, Nov. 9, 2013 the construction of a second new residence hall and the addition of four new sports at the Belleville campus. The new dormitory will be the second to be constructed in less than a year as the Lindenwood University continues to experience record enrollment.
