Lindenwood University-Belleville has announced that its new student center on campus will be named after former United States Senator Alan J. Dixon.
Richard Hunsaker makes a return to the Lindenwood University-Belleville Auditorium stage, his former “second home,” as Sidney Bruhl in the comedy-thriller "Deathtrap," Nov. 4-7 and 11-14, 2010. Show times are at 7:30 p.m., Thursday through Saturday, and at 2 p.m. on Sundays at the Belleville campus, located at 2600 W. Main Street in Belleville, Ill.
In its inaugural season of play at Lindenwood Belleville, the Lynx golf team has made history for the university. After two days of outstanding play, the team has become the first Lindenwood University – Belleville squad to place at the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) national tournament by taking second earlier this afternoon.
"Inspecting Carol," an uproarious backstage farce that combines Gogol's giddy romp "The Inspector General" with a masterful spoof of Dickens' seasonal perennial "A Christmas Carol," will be the holiday offering of the Brass Rail Players at Lindenwood community theater group.
Lindenwood University–Belleville will host eight performances by The Brass Rail Players community theatre group of the comedy thriller “Deathtrap” Nov. 4-7 and Nov. 11-14. Auditions for the show are open to the public and will take place at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 19, and Monday, Sept. 20, in the university’s auditorium.
Dr. Keith Russell has been named chair of the English Department at Lindenwood University-Belleville; he previously served as an associate professor of English at the university’s St. Charles, Mo., campus.
Dr. Todd Mick, former chief academic officer and professor of business, recently joined Lindenwood University-Belleville as Chair of the Business and Entrepreneurship Department.
Sarah Patterson-Mills, licensed professional counselor and secondary school counselor, has joined Lindenwood University-Belleville’s School Counseling Department as a full-time professor.
Dr. Therese Chavaux Turnbull has joined the faculty at Lindenwood University-Belleville and will assist in the further development of the university’s Professional and School Counseling Department.
Lindenwood University–Belleville will host two guest speakers during August. The presentations are part of the school’s 2010 Speaker Series and are free and open to the public. They also fulfill colloquium requirements for current LCIE students.
