Commencement Ceremonies Move to Auditorium Due to Rain Forecast

Lindenwood University-Belleville’s 2019 Commencement Ceremonies, previously scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, May 11, in Lindenwood Stadium, will be instead held at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. in the Lindenwood Auditorium on the university’s Belleville campus at 2600 W. Main St.

“This will be the second time that we’ve hosted our commencement ceremony on campus, and we’re very excited to continue the tradition,” said Dr. Renee Porter, associate provost and dean of academics.

The first ceremony, at 9 a.m. will be for graduates in the Business & Entrepreneurship and Social & Behavioral Sciences divisions. The second ceremony, at 11 a.m., will be for Humanities, Sciences, and Education & Counseling graduates. Participating graduates should check in no later than one hour prior to their respective ceremonies at the Alan J. Dixon Student Center.

Guests will not need tickets for the ceremony, and seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. A reception with light refreshments will be held immediately following each ceremony.
