Lindenwood University has partnered with iDonate (www.idonate.com) to make the giving experience even easier for donors, providing greater flexibility in how and what they give to the university.
President Michael D. Shonrock made the announcement today, saying iDonate was “an innovative tool that streamlines giving” among alumni and friends of Lindenwood.
Shonrock said Lindenwood will now be able to receive non-cash donations through iDonate, including items such as electronics, vehicles, jewelry, gift cards, etc.
The iDonate experience offers a platform that allows donors to give cash and non-cash items via desktop computer or mobile device. The iDonate platform accepts all major credit cards as well as Paypal and eCheck.
Transactions are PCI compliant, abiding by a strict set of standards to protect against fraud. Donors can make donations and receive a full tax deduction, while Lindenwood collects the proceeds from the gift.
“Each and every gift helps Lindenwood advance the cause of student success,” said Charlsie Floyd, Interim Vice President for Development. “We are happy to partner with iDonate and create a modern experience for Lindenwood’s donors.”
