Lindenwood University-Belleville will host a variety of summer athletic camps, beginning in June.
The men and women’s soccer teams will host their regular summer camps during two sessions over the summer, June 4-7 and July 9-12. This camp is open for children age 6-13. Campers can choose either a full-day session or a half-day session. The full-day camp will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the cost is $150. The half-day session will run from 8 a.m. until noon and cost $85, and campers will receive a t-shirt. T-shirt orders are required two weeks prior to the camp dates. Campers must bring a sack lunch each day plus snacks, plenty of water, shin guards, a ball, cleats, and turf shoes in case of inclement weather.
The men’s basketball program will host its Lil Lynx Camp from June 4 to 7 from 9 a.m. until noon. This camp is open for boys age 5-10 and will cover basketball fundamentals, techniques, competitions, and fun games. The cost is $65, and campers will each receive a t-shirt. It will also host its Lynx Basketball Day Camp for July 9-13 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This camp is open for boys ages 10-17 and will cover the basketball fundamental techniques, competitions, and scrimmaging. The cost is $300, and the deadline to sign up is June 25.
The women’s basketball program will host its camp from June 11 to 14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The camp is open to girls from grades five through eight. The cost is $125.
Men’s lacrosse will host its Prospect Camp June 16-17. At this inaugural overnight men’s lacrosse camp, participants will have the opportunity to stay overnight on campus and develop their lacrosse skills with college level coaching. All participants will be evaluated by the Lynx coaching staff for a potential scholarship opportunity. This camp is open to students in grades 9-12. The cost is $150
Women’s lacrosse will host a commuter camp from Aug. 1-3. This camp is open to students entering grade 9 through those who have just graduated high school. The cost is $200, and goalies can attend for $150. Participants are required to bring sticks, goggles, goalie gear, and cleats.
The softball program will host its overnight camps from July 9 to 11 and July 16 to 18. This camp will include the fundamentals of hitting, running, throwing, bunting, sliding, pitching, and catching. This camp costs $300, and campers will stay overnight in the female residence hall. Six meals will be included. Participants should bring tennis shoes or turf shoes, cleats, a glove, a bat, batting gloves, a helmet, and a water bottle.
The women’s soccer team will hold its Women’s Soccer ID Camp on July 14 from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. The cost for this camp is $30, and it is open to high school students. Players should each bring a ball, shin guards, and water. A campus tour will be available to prospects and their families after the camp.
Wrestling will host its camp from June 21 to 23 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Football will host camp on July 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Women’s volleyball will host camps on July 21, from July 23 to 25, and on July 28.
