Simple, Flexible Meal Plan Options

When choosing a meal plan, please budget responsibly. If a student runs out of meals or dining dollars, they may not switch to another plan once the deadline is passed. After the deadline, students will have to pay out of pocket for any meal not covered by the plan they selected. Extra meals and dining dollars may be purchased through the student portal.

Traditional 19

19 meals per week + $50 Dining Dollars per semester

  • Find on StarRez: 1 meal per meal period + $50 Dining Dollars
  • Weekly Breakdown: 19 meals per week and $3.12 Dining Dollars

Flexible Value

140 block meals per semester + $150 Dining Dollars

  • Find on StarRez: 140 meals per term + $150 Dining Dollars
  • Weekly Breakdown: Eight meals per week and $9.37 Dining Dollars

Most Flexible

100 block meals per semester + $350 Dining Dollars

  • Find on StarRez: 100 meals per term + $350 Dining Dollars
  • Weekly Breakdown: Six meals per week and $21.87 Dining Dollars.

Meals plans for resident students are selected through the StarRez portal.

Please note the Flexible Value plan, Most Flexible plan, and all Dining Dollar amounts allow you to use your meals and Dining Dollars in any way you like. The above break down is listed to assist you with budgeting your meals.

Commuter Meal Plan Options

Commuter 25

25 Block Meals per semester + $25 Dining Dollars, cost = $225

Commuter 50

50 Block Meals per semester + $25 Dining Dollars, cost = $400

Commuter Meal Plans may be purchased through the Student Portal.

Senator Alan J. Dixon Dining Hall

The Dixon Center Dining Hall is "all you care to eat." There are no to go plates/drinks. Containers brought from home may not be used to take food out of the dining hall. All food must be consumed in the dining room.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served Monday through Friday. Brunch and dinner on Saturdays and Sundays coinciding with the posted dining hall hours of operation. You may only enter the Dining Hall once during each meal period.

Your student ID card will give you access to Matt’s Café and Dixon Dining Hall through the meal system and will be activated on the first day of classes.

You will not be allowed access into the dining hall without your valid ID card.

ID cards are not transferable.

Unused meals are not refundable.

Dixon Center - Weekly Menus

We make every effort to follow the menus as posted. However, business demands may necessitate replacing certain items without prior notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Dixon Center Dining Hall Hours - Meal Periods

  • Monday - Friday
    • Breakfast: 7 - 10 a.m.
    • Lunch: 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
    • Dinner: 5 - 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday - Sunday
    • Brunch: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
    • Dinner: 4:30 - 6 p.m.

Matt's Cafe

Matt's Cafe proudly brews Starbucks coffee and offers the best sandwich selection on or off campus. Along with the excellent coffee and sandwiches we also carry a large assortment of breakfast items, baked goods and pizza.

The newly added Matt’s Chicken offers a delicious chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders.

    • 1:30 - 2 p.m.
  • Saturday - Sunday
    • Brunch: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.
    • Dinner: 4:30 - 6 p.m.
