Special Notice Regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic

Booth Registration

  • Set-Up Time: 4:00p.m. – 5:30p.m.
  • Tear down: 10:00p.m.
  • Parking/Shuttle: Parking is a first-come first-serve basis. Event staff will gladly meet you at your vehicles and transport any materials to your designated booth. Event golf cart will only be permitted past check-in table. Special Arrangements will be considered for select vendors using vehicles as displays and/or marketing purposes. Arrangements can be made by emailing LUDarkCarnival@Lindenwood.edu.
  • Check-In Location: Lindenwood University, 209 S. Kingshighway, St. Charles, MO 63301
  • How many people to expect: 8,500 – 12,000
  • All weather event
  • No sales of any kind will be permitted

Acknowledgements and Release of Claims

By submitting this form on behalf of the above organization, I represent that I have the authority to act on behalf of the above organization. In exchange for the organization’s permission to participate in this event, the above organization and its employees and agents release, acquit, and forever discharge Lindenwood Female College d/b/a Lindenwood University and its employees, trustees, insurers and agents (collectively “Lindenwood”) from any and all causes of action, claims, charges, losses, costs, demands, liabilities or damages resulting from the above organization’s participation in the Dark Carnival event. The organization also acknowledges that Lindenwood is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged property during the event. The organization also agrees that it will indemnify, defend and hold harmless Lindenwood from and against any and all claims, demands, damages, charges, liabilities, losses, damages or costs (including reasonable attorney’s fees), including those brought by third parties, arising from or in connection with: (i) the organization’s participation in the Dark Carnival event; (ii) any materials or services provided by the organization; (iii) the organization’s breach of any laws, rules, ordinances and/or regulations; and (iv) any claim that any materials or services provided by the organization under violate the patent, copyright, trademark, right of privacy or publicity or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights of any third party.

Lindenwood reserves the right to regulate what is distributed at the Dark Carnival event. The organization understands that it must disclose all items being distributed on the registration form prior to the event. The organization agrees that it shall comply with all policies and procedures as well as all instructions given by Lindenwood regarding the event and will not act in any manner that may: (i) create or result in a dangerous or hazardous condition; or (ii) interfere with the safe and efficient operation of Lindenwood, the work of Lindenwood employees, students or visitors or the safety of Lindenwood employees, students or visitors. The organization shall not photograph, film or otherwise record any Lindenwood employees, students or visitors without the prior written consent of Lindenwood. The organization acknowledges that in the event that it violates any of the terms herein, in addition to any other remedy available to Lindenwood, Lindenwood may at any time, in its sole discretion and without liability, revoke its permission for the organization to be present at the Dark Carnival event.
