Take your mentoring to new heights with MentorUP, the newest component in services supporting innovation-led startups. This cohort-based mentoring experience includes training, inclusion in mentee selection process, check-ins with trainers and peers, certification, and continued support resources.
We are looking for experienced entrepreneurs and corporate leaders with C-Suite experience that will work with startups who’ve validated their business model and are building traction with early adopters. You’ll offer dedicated one-to-one guidance during this critical time of growth while receiving training and peer connection.
Program Features
- Runs from March to September 2023
- Fifteen (15) Mentors selected
- Alignment with one or two startups
- Mentee selection through Matchmaking Presentations by selected startups (virtual)
- Mentor-only check-ins with WeLoveMentors and peer cohort members throughout the mentorship period (virtual)
- Certification by WeLoveMentors. Includes private LinkedIn groups with other certified mentors, access to continued mentor support services
Mentor Commitment
- Kickoff off Thursday, March 2, 2023 (virtual)
- Three (3), 60-minute training sessions (virtual)
- Three (3), 60-minute Matchmaking sessions (virtual)
- Two (2), 60-minute peer check-in sessions (virtual)
- 2-4 hours per month mentee sessions (virtual or in-person)
- Discuss confidentiality with your mentee as sessions begin
- The purpose of program is to be a Mentor. You are welcome to establish a business relationship with mentees after official program ends, with concurrence of mentee.
Note: Please submit your application only if you’re willing to commit to the above. Lindenwood University offers this training at no cost. Our goal is to develop the Mentor ecosystem and we cannot accomplish this without commitment from servant leaders like you.
