RESILIENCE aims to create trauma-informed arts programming to battle adversity through movement in St. Louis city and surrounding counties with education, community outreach, and main-stage performances. In collaboration with St. Louis nonprofit Hope Creates, the Salvation Army, and the Center for Trauma Recovery at UMSL, RESILIENCE will take the people of St. Louis on a restorative path from trauma to healing through stories of survivors.

Special Note on the Sensory Friendly Performance:
MADCO is proud to offer a sensory friendly performance of RESILIENCE, presented by PNC Arts Alive. This 1-hour excerpt performance highlights resilience in an inclusive environment for people with disabilities and their families! When you enter the theater, meet MADCO volunteers who will provide program copy and fidget toys to audience members. Modifications in light and sound will be made to create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. Audience members are invited to move & talk during the performance. After the curtain closes, YOU have the opportunity to take the stage with MADCO dancers for a creative movement dance class. This performance is open to ALL patrons. Be a part of the arts community, and don’t miss your chance to dance with MADCO. Visit MADCO's homepage to learn more.
