Scheidegger Center for the Arts hosted the 2025 Senior Fashion Show and St. Charles’ Got Talent. Lindenwood Vice President for Advancement and Community Engagement Orrie Covert joined the fun as a judge, while student volunteers from the lacrosse and men’s soccer team assisted participants for their walk on the red carpet. VALENTINE’S DAY LOVE FOR CEDARHURST LindenGiving, the University’s community outreach endeavor, celebrated Valentine’s Day with neighbors at Cedarhurst Senior Living. “Through the distribution of cards hand-made by Lindenwood University students, the sharing of gifts and sweets served by students, and the performance of beautiful music by Voices Only acapella group, our wish was to bring joy, love, kindness, camaraderie, and new memories to our neighbors at Cedarhurst,” LindenGiving Chair Beverly Porter said. LOCAL BUSINESS SPOTLIGHT Lights Camera Action, a media company started by Lindenwood alum Keith Hardge ’13, has become a welcomed sight at Lindenwood events over the past few years. Whether it is Homecoming, the Lindenwood University Gala, Alumni Nights, or campus events, Hardge’s team can be found with a brightly colored photo booth and cameras. Hardge enjoys working with the University and being able to document students’ journeys from freshman move-in day all the way to graduation. Hardge says Lights Camera Action’s goal is to “provide experiences.” When shooting an event, Hardge and his team interact with the community with the purpose of telling a story. They even create custom-made props for each event they cover. While Lights Camera Action serves the whole St. Louis and St. Charles area, Hardge says that returning to Lindenwood is always special saying, “it feels like family, every time I come on campus.” CELEBRATING ST. PATRICK’S DAY IN THE CITY As proud members of the St. Charles community, more than 60 students and employees from Lindenwood participated in the city’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Members of the men’s soccer, women’s basketball and cheer teams, LU Pridettes, and student organizations joined Leo along the route.
