Lindenwood Magazine - Spring 2025
8 SPRING 2025 EDITION THE LINDENWOOD For Lindenwood students, the program has lasting impacts. Tripamer’s class is all freshman students which means they are already starting to build skills that they will apply to future classrooms. Sydney Penny chose to read at the Spencer Road Branch, and found joy in helping expand horizons with various styles of literature. “I have learned about different types of literature and ways to implement those into the classroom. My favorite part of the program is taking my learning and sharing it with children.” In addition to sharing what they are learning, Lindenwood’s Jordyn Bates explained how this experience will set her up for success in her career. With plans to teach Kindergarten in the future, Bates took advantage of the opportunity and found it to be a “great experience for me to practice what it is like to read to a group of children around the age that I am wanting to teach! This was such a fun experience to have and to prepare me for my future classroom.” FEATURE STORY
