Journaling / Self Care Group
Take some time to add self-care back into your schedule by signing up for SCRC's Journaling/Self Care Group. Journaling provides an opportunity to self-reflect, explore internal thoughts and emotions, increase insights of personal experiences, and gain new self-perspectives.
Student's will be offered a prompt to use, or can choose a topic of their own during group writing time. Students will be provided time to discuss their writing experience should they choose to. Groups will alternate between Journaling and Self Care activities weekly.
Self Care activities will vary from art, yoga, and guest speakers.
When: Tuesdays, February 22 - April 12 at 3:00 p.m.

Love Your Tree Group
For students wishing to cultivate self-compassion, body acceptance and positive mental well-being through creativity, community connection, and self-reflection, join the SCRC’s Love Your Tree group.
The Love Your Tree group includes conversations, activities, art making, independent reflection opportunities, and group experiences designed to educate, inspire, and have a positive impact by exploring the metaphor or the self/body as a Tree using symbolism and examples in nature.

Just as trees are unique in their shapes, functions, sizes, colors, growing patterns and blooming seasons, so are we! Body acceptance means approving and loving your body despite its real or perceived imperfections, allowing a diversity of bodies in the world.
