Lindenwood is excited to share our fall event line up. We look forward to seeing you here on campus or out in the community – we are proud to be St. Charles’ hometown university! Dark Carnival - Friday, October 16 Discover the magic of Halloween at our annual Dark Carnival, where the historic side of campus transforms into a special place filled with treats for all ages. Join us for an evening filled with great activities including trunk-or-treat, bounce houses, creepy kid-friendly crafts, and a haunted house, recommended for ages 12+. Homecoming Weekend - October 23-24 Celebrate the spirit of community and tradition at Lindenwood University’s Homecoming Weekend. We invite our alumni and friends to join us to kick off the festivities at the Lindenwood University Gala at Ameristar Casino in St. Charles. The celebrations continue Saturday with the Homecoming Parade, featuring student-created floats, dance teams, and the Lindenwood marching band! Follow the parade to campus and get ready for an afternoon of Lindenwood pride, starting with the Lion Pride Tailgate, and wrapping up with a great football game! Winterfest - Sunday December 6 Celebrate the season with Lindenwood’s cherished winter celebration, a beloved tradition for over 40 years. While weather forced us to miss Winterfest in 2025, we’re prepared to come back, better than ever, with a reimagined event for 2026! Winterfest offers activities for the young and young-at- heart, including visits with Santa, caroling, holiday crafts, and delicious cookies. The event is free and open to the public. ABOUT THE CENTER For 18 seasons, the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts has been the premier destination for arts and entertainment in St. Charles, Missouri. Since opening in 2008, the Center has hosted hundreds of professional and student performances, ranging from rock concerts to Broadway musicals, comedians to crooners. There is something for everybody at the J. Scheidegger Center. STAY INFORMED We are always announcing new events at the J. VOLUNTEER IN THE ARTS Volunteers play a vital role in the Scheidegger Center as ushers, helping to deliver a high-quality patron experience at professional touring shows, student performances, and other events throughout the year. Our ushers greet guests, scan tickets, assist patrons to their seats, and help make the Scheidegger Center a welcoming environment for everyone.
