As of Monday, March 23, all Lindenwood University faculty and staff will be working from home and all on-campus offices will be closed to the public and university employees. Lindenwood personnel and offices will be available for business by telephone and email to provide continuity in university operations and student support services. Hayden Spotlighted as First Female Strength and Conditioning Coach in MLB

Andrea Hayden, who has a master's degree in human performance from Lindenwood and also worked full-time in the Athletic Performance Department, was recently featured in a story on MLB.com as the first female strength and conditioning coach in the history of Major League Baseball. Hayden left Lindenwood for a fellowship with MLB in 2019 and joined the coaching staff with the Minnesota Twins in November.

After a nationwide search, Lindenwood University has named Dr. Mark Arant its next provost. He will replace Dr. Marilyn Abbott, who announced in October she is retiring at the end of June after 23 years at Lindenwood and five as provost.

The Long Road to Lindenwood: World Travels Lead to University Presidency for John R. Porter

John R. Porter’s life, education, and career have taken him from Chicago, Ill., to Pittsburgh/Altoona, Penn.; Atlanta, Ga.; Springfield, Mo.; South Africa; and Dubai. In July, he added St. Charles, Mo., to that trajectory as he assumed the role of Lindenwood University’s 23rd president.
