National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements
Lindenwood University is a NC-SARA approved institution. The State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement establishes comparable national standards for interstate offering of postsecondary distance education. SARA is overseen by a National Council and administered by four regional education compacts.

Business and Entrepreneurship
Lindenwood University's course-based Business programs (including our daytime BA and evening MBA Plus programs) are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs accreditation. ACBSP is a specialized accreditation association for business education supporting, celebrating, and rewarding teaching excellence. “The association embraces the virtues of teaching excellence and believes that scholarly research and inquiry activities facilitate improved teaching.” This specialized accreditation is in addition to our current accreditation with Higher Learning Commission. Chemistry
Starting with the 2019-20 catalog, Lindenwood University students earning the B.S. in chemistry degree will carry an American Chemical Society accreditation. Lindenwood University’s chemistry program is the only one in the St. Louis area without a graduate degree program in chemistry to hold ACS accreditation.

EMT - Paramedicine
CAAHEP / CoAEMSP
The EMT-Paramedic program at Lindenwood University has been issued a Letter of Review by the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). This letter is NOT a CAAHEP accreditation status; it is a status signifying that a program seeking initial accreditation has demonstrated sufficient compliance with the accreditation Standards through the Letter of Review Self Study Report (LSSR) and other documentation. Letter of Review is recognized by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) for eligibility to take the NREMT's Paramedic credentialing examination(s). However, it is NOT a guarantee of eventual accreditation.

Lindenwood University’s Social Work program has been accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. This accreditation is valid through February 2021.
