Turkovic to Speak at Opening of Linares Exhibition

Dana Turkovic, curator for St. Louis’ Laumeier Sculpture Park, will speak at the Jan. 31 opening reception for an exhibition of sculptures by noted Mexican artist Pedro Linares (1906-1992) at Lindenwood University. The reception, in the Boyle Family Gallery, in Lindenwood’s J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, will be from 6 to 8 p.m.; Turkovic will speak at 7 p.m.

Castro Memorial to be Held Sunday, Jan. 20 from 3 to 7 p.m.

A memorial service for Michael Castro will be held Sunday, Jan. 20 from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Central Reform Congregation, 5020 Waterman in St. Louis. The memorial is open to family, friends, and admirers.
