Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) is an important part of the Lindenwood experience, giving students opportunities to find community, develop as leaders, serve others, and build connections that extend beyond their time on campus. Since 1992, Lindenwood’s fraternal community has grown to include organizations and opportunities with a variety of traditions, values, and areas of focus—including fraternities, sororities, intercultural organizations, and Order of Omega, a leadership honor society recognizing outstanding members of the fraternity and sorority community.

Whether you’re looking for lifelong friendships, leadership opportunities, service and philanthropy, or a community that shares your values, there’s more to FSL than joining an organization. It’s about finding your people, contributing to something bigger than yourself, and making your mark on the Lindenwood community.

Meet the Community

Fraternities

The mission of Delta Tau Delta is to be “Committed to Lives of Excellence.” Our members are committed to living lives that reflect themselves, the Fraternity, and every part of their being to a level of excellence.  We as a Fraternity are dedicated to helping men achieve this level of excellence in their own lives.

The Iota Chi chapter of Delta Tau Delta is known for their philanthropy efforts and raising the most money for their philanthropy year after year.  The Delts are among the top leaders on Lindenwood’s campus, having the highest fraternity GPA, holding executive positions in student government, and continuing to have a strong presence at all Lindenwood events.

The Fraternity is seeking men interested in leadership, personal development, and a desire to improve their college and life experience.

Robert Morrison, one of Phi Delta Theta’s most influential founders, stated, “to do what ought to be done but would not have been done unless I did it, I thought to be my duty.” Robert Morrison’s philosophy has inspired countless famous Phis, such as Neil Armstrong, to quite literally “shoot for the moon.” Phi Delta Theta-Missouri Iota at Lindenwood University has continued their founders’ mission as they seek to make a difference as fraternity men and leaders on campus.

Phi Delta Theta-Missouri Iota and their proud members have exemplified their three cardinal principles of friendship, sound learning, and rectitude.  Outside of the fraternity, the brothers of Phi Delta Theta-Missouri Iota have remained to be among the most accomplished leaders at Lindenwood University as they have been a part of the national championship shotgun team, on Lindenwood Student Government, and student ambassadors, to name a few.

Phi Delta Theta-Missouri Iota is searching for gentlemen who are devoted to upholding the honor and dignity of Phi Delta Theta as they strive to become the greatest version of themselves.  There is not a better time to join one of the most distinguished fraternities as the brothers of Phi Delta Theta-Missouri Iota are not only redefining Greek Life, but engaging themselves in a history that will never be forgotten by those who decide to live the respectable life of a Phi.

The brothers of Phi Delta Theta-Missouri Iota look forward to growing with you as we strive to transmit both this Fraternity and Lindenwood University greater than it was transmitted to the men of Phi Delta Theta.
