Your Lindenwood experience takes shape from the moment you arrive and continues throughout your journey as a Lion. Student Experience focuses on the people, milestones, and communities that help make your time at Lindenwood meaningful. Whether you’re starting your first year, joining us as a transfer student, navigating college as a first-generation student, or finding your place as a commuter, you’ll find opportunities and resources designed to support your experience along the way.
Explore the initiatives that help make the Lindenwood experience uniquely yours.
Orientation
Start your Lindenwood experience with confidence. Orientation helps new Lions get connected, find their way around campus, meet their community, and learn what it means to be part of Lindenwood. Whether you’re joining us as a first-year or transfer student, Orientation gives you the information, connections, and experiences you need to get off to a strong start.
First-Generation Students
Your journey is worth celebrating. Lindenwood is proud to support students who are the first in their families to attend college. Through resources, programs, and community-building opportunities, first-generation students can connect with others who share their experience, build their support network, and navigate college with confidence.
Class Councils
Shape your experience. Build your class community. First-Year and Sophomore Class Councils give students an opportunity to get involved, plan events, build traditions, and create meaningful experiences for their classmates. Council members help bring their class together, amplify student voices, and make an impact on the Lindenwood experience.
Commuter Student Life
Make the most of your Lindenwood experience. Commuter Student Life provides opportunities for students who live off campus to connect with their peers, get involved, and engage in the Lindenwood community. From commuter-focused programs and resources to campus events and activities, there are plenty of ways to build connections and make your time at Lindenwood meaningful.
Transfer Students
New campus. New connections. Your Lindenwood story starts here. Transfer students bring valuable experiences and perspectives to our community. Lindenwood provides opportunities to connect with other students, navigate your new campus, get involved, and find your place from day one.
