Shape your experience.
Build your class community.

Class Councils give students an opportunity to help shape the Lindenwood experience for their classmates. Through planning programs, building class traditions, and bringing student perspectives forward, council members create opportunities for connection and engagement within their class.

Why Join a Class Council?

Your class. Your ideas. Your impact.

Class Council members get the opportunity to:

  • Plan — Help create programs and experiences for your classmates.
  • Lead — Develop leadership skills through real responsibility and collaboration.
  • Represent — Bring student perspectives and ideas to the conversation.
  • Connect — Build relationships with classmates and campus partners.
  • Create — Help shape traditions and experiences your class will remember.

Represent your class. Build your community.

Pride Council is a diverse group of first-year students who represent and empower their class while helping create a strong sense of community at Lindenwood. Members help plan and support programs, recognize members of the campus community, and create opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to connect.

Pride Council members participate in weekly meetings, social events, and other opportunities throughout the academic year.

Sophomore Council brings second-year students together to build community through fun meetings, fundraisers, and events. The council creates opportunities for sophomores to connect with their classmates, stay engaged on campus, and make the most of their second year—all while helping combat the “sophomore slump.”
