Commuter Student Life
Living off campus doesn’t mean you have to miss out on campus life. Commuting to Lindenwood can look different for every student—you might arrive early for class, stay late for an event, or have a few hours between classes to study, grab a meal, or connect with friends. Whatever your schedule looks like, there are plenty of ways to make your time on campus meaningful.
From events and student organizations to campus resources, spaces, and opportunities to connect, there are plenty of ways to make Lindenwood feel like your campus, too. Take advantage of the people, programs, and experiences that make Lindenwood more than just a place to attend class.
Find your place. Get connected. Make Lindenwood yours.
A Place to Recharge.
Need a place to eat lunch, get some work done, or take a break? The Commuter Lounge, located on the third floor of Evans Commons, gives commuter students a dedicated space to relax and recharge while they’re on campus.
Bring your own lunch or snacks and take advantage of the mini fridge and microwave available for student use. The lounge also features a TV and plenty of study space, whether you need a quiet place to focus, somewhere to hang out between commitments, or simply a spot to take a breather. Stop by, settle in, and make yourself at home.
More ways to connect. More reasons to stick around.
Commuter students have plenty of opportunities to connect with each other and the larger Lindenwood community. Throughout the year, Commuter Student Life offers programs, events, and leadership opportunities designed to help you meet other commuter Lions, discover campus resources, take a break from your day, and make your experience at Lindenwood your own.
Commuter Student Council
Commuter Student Council brings together students who travel to campus to build community, share experiences, and help shape the commuter experience at Lindenwood. Council members have opportunities to connect with fellow commuters, share ideas, provide feedback, and advocate for changes that can make campus more accessible and engaging for students who live off campus.
Commuter Student Appreciation Week
Once each semester, we celebrate our commuter Lions with a week of activities, giveaways, food, and opportunities to connect. It’s a chance to take a break from your routine, meet other commuter students, and enjoy some extra Lion pride.
Commuter Student Connects
These regular meetups give commuter students a chance to connect, learn more about campus resources, and take a break from their busy schedules. Stop by, grab a bite, meet other commuters, and discover something new happening at Lindenwood.
Commuter Student Lunches
Grab lunch and connect with fellow commuter students at our Commuter Lunch events. Enjoy a free meal, giveaways, and opportunities to learn about resources and services available across campus.

Vehicle Registration
If you’re commuting to Lindenwood by car, you’ll need to register your vehicle through StarRez and pick up your parking pass from the Office of Public Safety and Security.
The Memorial Arts Building (MAB) parking lot is the designated commuter parking lot. Additional campus parking is available but always check posted signage before parking—reserved spaces and designated areas may have specific restrictions.
Take care of your vehicle registration before you arrive so you know where to park and have your permit ready for the start of the semester.
Parking Regulations
Knowing where you can park—and where you can’t—can save you a ticket and a headache. Review Lindenwood’s current parking regulations, designated parking areas, permit requirements, and other parking information before you hit campus.
