Lindenwood University is the home to Lindenwood University Press. The Lindenwood Press publishes documents like the Journal of Educational Leadership in Action, Journal of International and Global Studies, Arrow Rock, The Lindenwood Review, Missouri Policy Review and The Confluence.
Journal of Educational Leadership in Action is an open access online peer review journal offering its readers a global platform on research-based educational practice.
The Lindenwood Review is the literary journal of Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri, produced by the university’s MFA in Writing program.
The journal is focused on issues relevant to Missouri policy makers as well as the public interested with the complexities associated with policy making. The journal strives to present articles in a detached and analytical manner but written so they can be read by the educated adult reader.
Arrow Rock is committed to promoting and providing a mature environment for Lindenwood University students to publish quality fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, plays, and artwork, while showcasing the integrity and individual talents of each writer or artist.
The Journal of International and Global Studies provides a peer reviewed multidisciplinary forum for the critical discussion of and reflections on the consequences of globalization throughout the world.
Lindenwood Press Standards
Lindenwood Press is the academic publishing venture of Lindenwood University, responsible for publishing six journals containing academic and creative works by scholars, students, and artists, from both within the Lindenwood community and around the world.
By submitting a manuscript to a Lindenwood Press publication, the submitter attests that the manuscript:
- Has not been published in another venue, except as an abstract, academic thesis, or part of a published address;
- Is not currently being considered for publication in another venue, unless the Lindenwood publication explicitly permits simultaneous submissions;
- Is approved for publication by all authors and any sponsoring funding institutions or other authorities;
- Is the original work of the author or authors named.
Lindenwood Press adheres to high standards of academic integrity. Research misconduct including data falsification or fabrication, citation manipulation, or plagiarism, including recycling of the author’s own previously published work, will not be tolerated. All manuscripts submitted to Lindenwood Press publications will be submitted to plagiarism-checking software. Authors are responsible for obtaining publication permission for all copyrighted materials and images included in their submissions. Submissions that are found to be in violation of this standard will not be published. If an article is found to be in violation after it has been published, Lindenwood Press will issue a retraction on ground of academic integrity violation, and will not consider future submissions from the retracted author(s).
