Lindenwood University has been named a Business College of Distinction for a sixth consecutive year. The award recognizes Lindenwood’s support for undergraduate business students from the first year through entering the workforce.
To be considered for recognition, universities must demonstrate numerous qualities that reflect student outcomes. The selection emphasizes multidisciplinary and collaborative learning with practical experience. “Business students at Lindenwood aren’t waiting until graduation to do real work,” Colleges of Distinction Chief Operating Officer Tyson Schritter said. “They’re solving real problems, building real relationships, and developing the kind of professional judgment that only comes from experience. That’s what sets this program apart.”
Dean of the Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship Dr. Jennifer Mack also highlighted the importance of preparing students through real experience. “This recognition reaffirms our commitment to rigorous academics and real-world learning experiences that equip students to lead in an ever‑changing world,” Mack said. “I’m deeply proud of our faculty for championing student success every day.”
Colleges of Distinction recognizes ethical, applied learning for creating strategic thinkers who contribute meaningfully across industries. Colleges of Distinction notes, “Lindenwood’s undergraduate business programs prioritize ethical reasoning and corporate responsibility, preparing graduates who lead with competency and integrity.”
Schritter said this “combination of rigorous academics, applied learning, and ethical grounding” is exactly what Colleges of Distinction looks for. Through this learning environment, undergraduate students in the Plaster College of Business and Entrepreneurship enter the workforce prepared with a well-rounded skillset.
