
Lindenwood University will celebrate Homecoming Week from October 20-25, welcoming alumni, families, and friends back to campus for events that highlight Lindenwood’s community spirit. Selected by students, this year’s theme, “All Roads Lead to Lindenwood,” showcases the journeys that bring the Lindenwood community together.
The Lindenwood Gala kicks off the weekend festivities. Held at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in St. Charles, Friday October 24 at 6 p.m., the annual event celebrates the University’s achievements over the year. Guests will be treated to dinner, entertainment, and both silent and live auctions. Alumni awards will be presented, honoring graduates who have made significant impacts in their professions and communities.
On Saturday morning, the Homecoming Parade will fill Main Street with the Lindenwood and St. Charles community members who make the event special. The parade begins at 9 a.m. from the Lewis and Clark Boat House.
Starting at 11 a.m., Lion Pride Tailgate will bring together students, alumni, faculty, and families outside Hunter Stadium. Guests can enjoy food, music, and games before the Lindenwood Lions football team takes the field.
The day continues with the Homecoming football game, as the Lions host Gardner-Webb at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the gate. At halftime, Lindenwood’s Homecoming Court will be announced.
After the game, Family and Supporter Bingo will take place at 6 p.m. in the Spellmann Center AB Leadership Room. Guests can enjoy an evening of classic bingo, prizes, and light refreshments to wrap up the Homecoming celebration.
Homecoming has been a Lindenwood tradition for more than a century. The event-filled weekend offers a chance to reconnect and reflect on the roads that continue to bring the Lindenwood community together.
