Lindenwood University’s community outreach initiative, LindenGiving has once again partnered with OASIS Food Pantry and Schnucks to provide Thanksgiving meals to families across St. Charles. This year marks the sixth consecutive year of the partnership, continuing LindenGiving’s commitment to the university values of thriving together and doing what is right.

OASIS Food Pantry, located one mile from Lindenwood’s campus, offers year-round assistance to St. Charles residents through by providing food, hygiene materials, and clothing free of charge. Together, LindenGiving and OASIS aim to ensure that families can share in the warmth and joy of the Thanksgiving season.

“So many of us have never wanted for a meal and cannot imagine the inability to provide one for our loved ones,” said LindenGiving Chair Beverly Porter. “Some of our local neighbors are currently finding themselves in this tough position, and LindenGiving wants to lend a helping hand to them by again partnering with OASIS Food Pantry and Schnucks to supply 110 complete meals this Thanksgiving season. May these provisions not only bring sustenance for a time to these families but spark joy, encouragement, and great hope.”

LindenGiving’s impact extends beyond the Thanksgiving season with ongoing volunteer efforts and quarterly community projects that strengthen ties between Lindenwood and the community it serves.
