Lindenwood University has begun accepting applications for the 2021-22 academic year and is excited to announce scholarship opportunities for prospective students planning to enroll for Fall 2021. 

Senior Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Engagement Terry Whittum says, “Lindenwood has taken into consideration the challenges this class of seniors will face as they navigate their college search.  We remain committed to providing students ample opportunities to ensure they can obtain a Lindenwood education.  Our Fall 2021 scholarship suite is another example of that commitment.”

Sibley Scholarships are Lindenwood’s premier scholarship for exemplary student leaders. Students must be a new, first-year student who plans to enroll as a freshman for Fall 2021. Academic qualifications require a minimum, cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 out of a 4.0 scale and participate in an interview conducted in Feb. 2021.

Inclusive Leadership scholarships are awarded to support the mission of diversity, equity, and inclusion for all at Lindenwood University. Students who demonstrate a passion for these qualities can apply for this scholarship awarding $2,000 per year. In addition, recipients will also participate in the PILLAR (Promoting Inclusive Learning Leadership and Retention) Program.

Academic Merit scholarships are awarded at the time of admission and are based on the holistic review of a student’s academic profile and university application.

New this year, Lindenwood is awarding a Legacy Grant which encourages a family tradition of enrollment at Lindenwood University. Candidates must enroll for Fall 2021 as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student and must have at least one direct lineage to a graduate of Lindenwood University – parent, grandparent, or legal guardian. This grant is awarded to new students only, and a limited number of the $1,000 grant awards are available.

Lindenwood is also introducing a Sibling Grant for Fall 2021 applicants.  This grant provides additional support to families with more than one child enrolled at Lindenwood University simultaneously.
