Scope
This policy applies to all faculty, staff, and individuals who provide instruction within the Lindenwood University Accelerated Online programs.
Policy
All faculty and adjuncts teaching in the Lindenwood University Accelerated Online programs are expected to use the learning management system, Canvas, provided by Ancora Education. Canvas offers a wide variety of features that faculty are encouraged to use for the benefit of their students, beyond the minimum standards for use as required below:

Grading & Feedback
- SpeedGrader
- Gradebook
Interaction & Engagement
- Discussions boards
- Group spaces (collaborations, group work tools)
- Peer feedback workflows
Analytics & Tracking
- Course Analytics (student activity, participation, submission tracking)
- Gradebook analytics (late/missing assignments, low performance flags)
Support & Presence
- Office hours link embedded in course (Pages/Announcements/Syllabus)
- Q&A discussion forum or board
- Accommodation adjustments within assignment settings
Surveys & Feedback Collection
- Midterm survey
Escalation & Documentation
- Recording student outreach in Canvas Inbox or Notes
