Psychology students win awards at the Spring 2025 Honors Convocation on April 6, 2025.

List of Award Recipients

Addison Cates was this year's recipient of the Psychology Award. This award is given to the psychology student who has excelled in their studies, especially in the area of research.

This year's Charlotte G. Evans Psychology Award went to Allyson Phillips for significantly contributing to facilitate interest in psychology through leadership, selection of events, and promotion of psychological activities.

Our talented students also won awards outside of psychology as well.  Kay DeKock won the Edith Zanville Frontiers of Science Honors Award, Sydney Buchholz won the Jane Adams Community Engagement Award, Madeline Eckelkamp won the Max Weber Excellence in Sociology Award, and Alexis Schweiss was the recipient of the Jessie Bernard Endowed Scholarship Award.
