We are very excited on your decision to join a fraternity or sorority at Lindenwood University! By going through the recruitment/intake process, you are starting a new chapter in your life and we are excited to help you shape your future and celebrate each achievement with you. By affiliating with a fraternity or sorority, you are committing yourself to the ideals set forth by our founders and continuing their work of scholarship, service, philanthropy, and brotherhood/sisterhood.  Below you will find a link to our Guidelines for Recruitment, which we hope you will find helpful and insightful.

What is the difference between Recruitment and Intake?

Recruitment is in reference to joining one of the organizations within our Interfraternity Council and the Panhellenic Association. The Interfraternity Council hosts a Rush Week involving orientation, community events, social events, an invite-only event, and ends with Bid Day (our new member reveal). The Panhellenic Association has a formal recruitment practice in the fall involving an orientation, philanthropy and sisterhood-themed events to get to know the potential new members, a Preference Night, and then a Bid Day.
