Symphonic Dreamscapes: Hisaishi and Beyond
October 10 at 7:30 p.m.

Joe Hisaishi’s luminous, imaginative music and decades-long collaboration with Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli has produced some of the most beloved scores in cinema. The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra performs selections from the composer behind such acclaimed films as Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Howl’s Moving Castle, paired with classical works that share the same sense of magic and wonder. Led by Assistant Conductor Samuel Hollister, this vibrant program reveals surprising connections between cinematic and symphonic storytelling. Join us for an enchanting evening that celebrates the timeless power of orchestral music to transport us to extraordinary places.

Fall Dance Concert
November 19-21, 2026

The Fall Dance Concert celebrates the creativity and exceptional talent of Lindenwood’s dancers and choreographers, featuring works that span genres from hip hop and contemporary to improvisation and jazz. The program includes new choreography by graduating senior Lauren Head and upperclassmen Grace Burrell and Kaden Wareham. Leading the University Dance Ensemble this semester, Mariko Kumanomido will also premiere a new work featuring a large ensemble of Lindenwood dancers.

Mercy Holiday Celebration

The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra’s annual toast to the holidays returns to Lindenwood University. Bring your family and friends for a festive concert blending the timeless and traditional with contemporary classics and fresh takes on tunes from the seasonal songbook. Your SLSO and the St. Louis Symphony Chorus bring all the magic of the holidays, from cozy fireside ballads to poignant carols and the sound of sleigh bells—and perhaps even a visit from Santa Claus!

Winter Dance Concert

The Winter Dance Concert highlights the creative voices of our sophomore and junior choreographers. Each pair has crafted original work and set it on their peers, resulting in eleven unique pieces that move through humor, heartbreak, imagination, and joy.

Spring Dance Concert
April 28 – May 1, 2027

The Spring Dance Concert is the culminating performance of our academic season, featuring 15 student capstone projects that highlight the artistry, scholarship, and growth of our graduating seniors. Presented in two distinct programs, the Concert Series showcases original works representing the Bachelor of Arts candidates’ culminating experiences and the Bachelor of Fine Arts areas of specialization in Ballet, Contemporary, and Jazz.
