
Lindenwood University has selected Dr. Aaron Voyles as its new Vice President of Student Affairs. Voyles joins the Lindenwood community with an extensive background in student activities, residential life, and academic partnerships. He will lead the University’s efforts in putting students first and enhancing the student experience.
Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs Dr. Kathi Vosevich is thrilled to have Dr. Voyles join her team: “I look forward to what Aaron will accomplish here, and I am confident that he will enjoy great success. In addition to his practical experience, I am especially excited about his graduate work on Academic and Student Affairs and how they influence each other, as well as how we can all collaborate to provide an exceptional and impactful student experience.”
Voyles moves to St. Charles after spending more than a decade in progressive roles at the University of Texas at Austin, where he was most recently the Associate Dean of Students. He previously worked in student involvement, residential experience, and student learning and development. Prior to Texas, he worked at Appalachian State University and Sarah Lawrence College in residential life.
Dr. Voyles states, “I’m excited to join Lindenwood University as Vice President of Student Affairs. I look forward to working with a collaborative campus community to support student success. I am especially eager to partner with the dedicated staff whose work makes that experience possible for students every day.”
Voyles holds an EdD in Educational Leadership and an EdS in Higher Education Administration from Appalachian State University, an MFA in Writing from Sarah Lawrence University, and a BFA in Creative Writing from University of North Carolina Wilmington.
