The annual Young Artists and Their Teachers Exhibition was held for three weeks in late November and early December in the Boyle Family Gallery in the J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts.

“Almost 150 works in all visual art disciplines from 16 regional high schools were included in the exhibition hanging alongside artwork created by their teachers,” Senior Professor of Art and Design John Troy said. “The art teachers themselves select the work to be shown, which is an important collaborative effort between regional high schools and the Lindenwood Art and Design program.”

Close to 250 high school juniors and seniors, along with their families and art teachers, participated in an opening reception and awards ceremony hosted by Lindenwood University.

The Boyle Family Gallery hosts exhibits throughout the year and members of the public are invited to visit during open hours.
