Winterfest Celebrates the Holiday Season

Lindenwood University will host its annual Winterfest this Sunday, December 4 from 4:30 – 8 p.m. on the heritage side of campus. Formerly known as Christmas Walk, the event brings together the campus and the community for an evening of holiday merriment.

“Winterfest is one of Lindenwood’s longest standing traditions,” Alumni Relations Director Dr. Jen Edler said. “It is our gift back to the community. Winterfest is about peace, love, joy, and the season of giving.”

Winterfest is a free event providing holiday fun for all with a variety of activities throughout the campus. Winterfest visitors will have a chance to carol with Lindenwood’s acapella group, Voices Only, decorate holiday cookies, create holiday crafts, listen to holiday stories read by Mrs. Claus, take family photos in a real sleigh, and tell Santa their Christmas wishes.

Guests are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate to the Salvation Army, and will receive an event t-shirt while supplies last.
