- Provides management and oversight of marginal and major gifts, corporate and foundation gifts, planned gifts and annual fund gifts.
Orrie Covert - Vice President
Vice President, Advancement and Community Engagement
Provide strategic direction for the alumni, fundraising, marketing and communications departments of the university.
Collaborate with volunteers, donors, university leadership and the community on university projects and priorities.
Active member of the President’s Leadership Team, participates in university mission, vision and strategy setting.
Jennifer Edler - Alumni Relations
Director, Alumni Relations
- Maintains planning, budgeting and implementation responsibility for all alumni programs, including developing a strategic vision, assessing current programs, creating new programs and joining the department’s vision with the university’s strategy.
- Develops messaging and branding strategy to elevate the awareness and importance of alumni engagement, networking opportunities, increase alumni involvement, build life-long connections and facilitate ongoing engagement and support.
- Develops partnerships and executes promotional events that raise the university’s visibility among constituents across the country.
- Oversees the Alumni Advisory Council and all volunteers for the department
- Oversees all content on the alumni social media platforms and sending out monthly alumni newsletters.
Brittany Howard - Annual Giving
Director, Leadership Annual Giving
- Leads and executes efforts to grow and strengthen Lindenwood’s Annual Giving programs
- Engages members of the Lindenwood community in fostering a culture of philanthropy throughout campus and the broader community
- Supports all capital campaign initiatives, including management of the Annual Fund and naming opportunities process
Sarah Kozy - Special Events
Special Events Assistant
- Plans and organizes all details for Office of the President sponsored special events.
- Plans and organizes all details for Advancement and Community Engagement sponsored special events.
- Provides on-site event presence and support to ensure success, preventing potential issues and troubleshooting emerging problems.
- Maintains relationships with outside groups to promote University facilities for event rental.
- Serves on Homecoming and Dark Carnival committees to ensure planning remains on schedule.
- Helps with alumni events, alumni visits, the alumni engagement platform, and related administrative duties.
Kenneth Meyer - Advancement

- Monitors all incoming donations and provides daily and monthly reports to the finance office.
- Responsible for the creation and execution of a stewardship strategy to reinforce meaningful connections to the University.
Don Rothermich - Destination Lindenwood
Director, Destination Lindenwood
- Represents the University at community events. Identifies regional forums and speaking opportunities.
- Coordinates community outreach events and serves as the principal point of contact for all on- and off-campus Destination Lindenwood-sponsored event/programs.
- Connects with key constituents to advance the Destination Lindenwood initiative and develops a strong culture of teamwork across all functional areas of the University.
- Supports the development of a sustainable and financially impactful model of community engagement for the University.
Emily Sebourn - Special Events
Manager, Special Events
- Develops and maintains all aspects of University Special Events.
- Manages event elements including, but not limited to design, timeline, event procedures, continuous improvement plans, and execution.
- Establishes and maintains effective relationships with vendors.
- Strives to provide legendary hospitality for all stakeholders and event guests.
- Interacts collaboratively with university departments to provide professional expertise and to serve as an event resource for Lindenwood employees.
Caroline Vogl - Budget and Research
Coordinator, Advancement Budget and Research
- Organizes and oversees the institution’s records relating to current and prospective donors.
- Conducts research to discover prospects for gifts and documenting the association of these prospects with the university.
- Assists in departmental budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling.
- Provides high-level administrative support to the vice president.
Jen Wunder - Advancement, Athletics
Director, Athletics Advancement
- Develop and manage Lions Booster Club donations and initiatives.
- Assist NCAA and Student Life Sport coaches to reach fundraising goals.
- Represent Lindenwood Athletics in community and fan engagement opportunities.
