Partnerships and Community Impact
The Applied AI and Innovation Center in Lindenwood University’s College of Arts and Humanities works with businesses, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, government agencies, workforce organizations, and community partners to make artificial intelligence more accessible, practical, and human-centered. These relationships take many forms, from AI literacy and workforce upskilling to applied research, technology pilots, organizational readiness initiatives, entrepreneurship, and collaborative innovation. By connecting university expertise with real organizational challenges, the Center creates opportunities for reciprocal learning while supporting responsible AI adoption throughout the region and beyond.
AI Essentials and Organizational Upskilling
Through AI Essentials upskilling and related programming, the Center helps organizations build practical AI literacy and identify meaningful applications of emerging technologies within their own work. Training can be adapted for leadership teams, employees, educators, nonprofit professionals, municipal staff, and other audiences, with an emphasis on immediately applicable skills, responsible use, and human-centered implementation.
